The intention of this page is to help all travelers find gluten free hotels in Rome which are safe to stay for coeliacs and people with other forms of gluten intolerance (I know coeliac disease is not intolerance but I just didn’t know any other way to explain why I created this page). I know how hard it can be to find gluten free hotels because I have been traveling around Europe both for business and pleasure and sometimes regular search engines are not enough. They simply do not provide accurate information about allergens and diets in every hotel. This is why this page was created so please feel free to use it free of charge. In case you would like to book any of this hotels I will be grateful if you will use the links below. This way I will receive a small compensation from the search engine (Booking.com or any other) and I will be able to keep this webpage for longer (hosting & webdesign cost money).

This hotel is one of my favorite. I’ve always liked all the Courtyard hotels because of their specific mood and luxury interiors. In this hotel you will find beutiful, fully equipped rooms with wifi, fitness center and some facilities for disabled guests. But what I like the most is the balcony & terrace which allow me to sit outside with a glass of gluten-free beer and enjoy the view (I am not sure do they have gluten-free beer but when I was there in 2018 I had my own with me)

I think all Novotel hotels look more or less the same in the world. This one is exactly like all others which I’ve visited with only one exception – it has an outside pool which just absolutely love! I have to be honest with you – I’m not much of a swimmer but I love water so next time I will be visiting Rome this is going to be my hotel. Looking closer at other nice things is the playground for children and of course the menu.

Now this hotel is one of the nicest that I’ve seen. looking at the entrance makes me feel as if were in front of an ancient history museum. Also when we take a look inside you will see some beautiful chairs covered with red fabric. Really great. Please note that this hotel has an airport shuttle so you can save some money on the taxi. another important thing is that this hotel is just 15 minutes walk from the Coloseum which makes it a perfect location for all travelers. Just a few steps and you can see the place where all the gladiator battles took place. I don;t know about you but I always see the Russell Crowe walking through the main gate to fight at the arena 🙂

This is another hotel with a beautiful view from the roof and balconies (pay attention which rooms you choose because not all of them have a balcony). Perfect place for travelers who love history and would like to see Rome on their own. Of course there are family rooms but it seems that this place suits most to singles. At least single travelers decided to make a review more often on Booking.com.

This one is more of a “stylish” place with a really lovely entrance which makes you feel like a king/queen entering your palace. And you will feel like a member of the royal family once you step in to the Turkish Bath and a hot tub available for free for all hotel guests. What I like in this place is the amount of details like red carpets, special chairs and even tables and curtains which create the feeling or luxury. Yes, this is a place worth visiting.

Hotel Amalfi is a bit more affordable than the ones before but really there is not much more than you need. This hotel has a lot of positive reviews so everybody should be happy after visiting this place. What is unique is paintings on the walls and ceiling which look like the ones from Sistine Chapel. This frescoed ceilings create an exceptional feeling and make the trip to Rome even better.

Hotel Ranieri is another excellent gluten-free hotel in Rome. Great place in a specific roman style and an adorable orange tree growing in front of the entrance. This hotel is 400m away from the metro but only 15 minutes walk from Trevi Fountain. Airport shuttle plus 24h bar makes this place an interesting stop also for business travel.

Radisson hotels network is the one which I’ve been visiting most often during my business travels. I’ve always been happy with the places and also with the hotel restaurants. This hotel reminds me of Intenso restaurant in Radisson Blu Olumpia hotel in Tallinn/Estonia when it comes for food but all the rest is even better. Laying down on the summer roof (2 of those) or relaxing next to a swimming pool is what I enjoy the most. In such rare occasions I’m always torn apart by the need to go see something interesting or just relax and enjoy the stillness. Anyway you will not be disappointed with this place (maybe besides prices but you gotta pay for the convenience)

Hotel Fori is a bit cheaper then Radisson or other luxury hotels in this list but still is fully enough for the trip to Rome. I have not visited this hotel personally but what I found is that it’s really close to the metro and bus stops. This makes it a perfect summer getaway for history tour through Rome.

Best Western is not my most favorite hotel but according to Schär webpage they serve gluten-free food so I had to add them to my list. It’s possible that this hotel is really great especially that it has 4 stars but still for me Best Western is not my favorite. When you look through the photos on Booking.com it looks really great so please check it out by yourself.
